Clinically Fit is committed to being a socially and environmentally responsible company. We have taken many steps since introducing The Xtensor including:
- The Xtensor is "Made in the USA" in a certified green facility that generates an increasing amount of energy using solar power technology.
- The Xtensor is made from recyclable materials including The Xtensor fingerbands which are made from hypoallergenic non latex materials.
- The Xtensor is assembled through a program that employs functionally handicapped individuals with strong desires to work each having unique skills and capabilities. The organization is called AHRC and is located throughout the New York Area.
The primary mission at Clinically Fit was to design a product that applies time tested principles regularly used in sports conditioning and rehabilitation to the muscles, tendons and joints of the upper extremity.

"I told my mom who has Tennis Elbow about The Xtensor, and after her research she bought one! She got it yesterday and LOVES it! She said as soon as she put it on, that it was exercising the exact muscles that are hurting her. What a great product! You should be proud! You are helping people, and you certainly have helped my mom.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks!"

Xtensor TheoryXtensor Theory
The theory behind The Xtensor is simple, apply the time tested principles used throughout the exercise science and sports conditioning communities to strengthen and/or rehabilitate muscles, tendons to the muscles that open the hands. Strength and flexibility conditioning improves muscle balance and is the most effective way of maximizing blood flow to muscles and tendons while also improving their overall health and stability.
Maximizing blood flow by means of traditional strength conditioning principles delivers vital nutrients necessary to optimize the healing process. Gentle resistance training exercises designed to specifically strengthen the finger extensor muscles that open the hands helps them handle greater amounts of stress, reduce reoccurrence rates and improve finger joint range of motion.

"Having used your Xtensor for the last month, I am very pleased. At last, I have found a product to adequately strengthen the extensor muscles of the forearm. Hopefully, the exercise can prevent recurrence of my tennis elbow.
Many thanks and bravo for the introduction of this product."

*Therapeutic Exercise (97110) Requires direct one-on-one provision of service according to Medicare guidelines. Therapeutic Exercise includes activities related to strengthening, endurance training, range of motion, stabilization and flexibility, utilizing dynamic activities—in other words, it is the "-ing" code (i.e. pulling, squeezing, spreading, lifting, etc.).
A single 15-minute unit (for a timed CPT therapeutic exercise) should be reported for a treatment greater than or equal to 8 minutes (minimum for approval) and less than 23 minutes. This time includes consult and exercise. Separate coding is usually required when billing for medical supplies and equipment. Always check with payers for reimbursement information and specific coding requirements. Include a letter of medical necessity whenever possible. Describe The Xtensor as specifically as possible in relation to patient’s needs and limitations (strengthening, re-balancing, stabilizing, stimulating, etc.). **The use of HCPCS codes is vital in order to obtain accurate and complete reimbursement. The Xtensor billed with CPT code 99070 may not be reimbursed unless identified with the specific HCPCS code A9300. Most payers require that 1) the supply be described, 2) medical necessity be established, and 3) some require that an invoice be attached to the claim.
"I have personally used The Xtensor for a month. It has a well thought out design, is comfortable on the wrist and hand and is an excellent device for strengthening the finger extensor muscles and tendons. It can also be used to improve strength for finger abduction and opposition and is very unique, durable device that will benefit people with both general and specific hand weaknesses. For example, it can be used following Hand, Wrist or Elbow Surgery. It may also be of value for people recovering from mild TIA (Stroke) or CVA and has implications for people recovering from Tennis/Golfers Elbow and Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. I highly recommend this unique device"
Sincerely,
Ralph Steinberg, Physical Therapist

"I am 53 years old and have been playing sports since I was 9. By the time I was 13, my right elbow had begun to swell and become uncomfortable and over the last 30 years my right elbow has lost some Range of Motion and always felt tight. Since I began using The Xtensor a few weeks ago the swelling has gone down dramatically and my elbow feels freer and looser than it has in years.
Best of all, I don’t have the irritation and pain that came from the tightness."
Thanks,
Bill Hori

"I absolutely love The Xtensor.
I sit in a cube and the pain in my forearm forced me into surgery last year which I think could have been avoided if I had found your product sooner. I use your product several times a week and love it and it has allowed me to type without significant pain in my forearm."

“After using the Xtensor for the last 4-5 weeks I have noticed a marked improvement in my condition. I no longer need any buprofen nor do I awaken with my hands in tight fists as before.”

“I started having hand problems several months ago. I would wake in the middle of the night with both hands clenched in a tight fist.”
